- Check the battery is inserted correctly into the vacuum cleaner.
- The battery may not be charged. Go to Getting Started in the user manual.
- The terminals on the battery and vacuum cleaner may be dirty. Go to Lets talk technical in the user manual.
- Battery might be too hot, remove and allow to cool for 1 hour.
- The vacuum cleaner has overheat protection which will cut the machine out. If this has happened, switch off the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove and empty the dirt container and check for blockages.
- Clean the filters and allow the vacuum cleaner to cool for approximately 1 hour (if you have washed the filters you will need to wait 24 hours for the filters to fully dry before putting them back into the vacuum cleaner).
- Check the battery charger is plugged in. Go to Getting started in the user manual.
- Check the battery is inserted correctly into the handheld. Go to Getting started.
- The terminals on the battery and vacuum cleaner may be dirty. Go to Lets talk technical in the user manual.
- The dirt container may not be correctly fitted, remove the dirt container from the vacuum cleaner and check its assembled correctly, refit ensuring its locked into place.
- The separator is not correctly fitted. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- The filters may be clogged, clean the filters. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- The dirt container may be blocked, empty the dirt container. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- The brush on the Powered Head has not been activated. Go to using your machine.
- There maybe a blockage in the reach wand. Disconnect from the vacuum cleaner and carefully remove any blockages. Go to Lets talk technical.
- The brushbar has not been activated. Go to using your machine.
- The Powered Head/brushbar may be obstructed. Go to Lets talk technical.
- The filters may be clogged, clean the filters. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- The separator may be clogged, clean the separator. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- Exhaust filter may be miss-assembled. Go to Taking care of your machine.
- Check the battery is inserted correctly into the vacuum cleaner.
- The battery may not be charged, remove and charge battery.
- Battery might be too hot, remove and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Replace battery.
- The motor thermostat may have tripped. If this has happened, switch off the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove and empty the dirt container and check for blockages.
- Clean the filters and allow the vacuum cleaner to cool for approximately 1 hour (if you have washed the filters you will need to wait 24 hours for the filters to fully dry before putting them back into the vacuum cleaner).
If your vacuum is experiencing a loss of suction, please try the following:
- Check for any debris or blockages in the tubing and main body.
- Ensure the filter has been cleaned and left to dry as per the maintenance and care instructions.
- Check to see if the issue is happening on all attachments. If it is happening with a particular attachment then check there is no damage to this attachment and it is fitted correctly.

If the vacuum isn’t charging, please try the following:
- Try an alternative plug socket.
- Ensure there is no debris stuck in the charging port or at the end of the charging cable.
- Gently wipe the end of the charging cable with a clean, dry cloth.

Check that the dust container is fully clipped into place. Follow any symbols on the dust container and twist/clip on securely.
It is normal for the vacuum to make noise during operation. If the vacuum is making unusual or excessive noises, check the following:
- Check the filter is secure in the dust container as it may be rattling.
- Clean the filter thoroughly to remove any dirt and debris.
- Securely fasten the dust container to prevent parts from moving.
- Check the floor head for any dirt or damage which may be causing the sound.
If the brush roll isn't spinning, check the following:
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
- Remove any hair or debris that is tangled around the brush roll.
- Check that the belt on the brush roll is securely attached.
Please note, this only applies to models that have a spinning brush roll.
