  1. Plug in the Echo Pop device.
  2. On the mobile device, open the Alexa app.
  3. Open More and select Add a Device.
  4. Select Amazon Echo, and then Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Pop and more.
  5. Select Echo Pop.
  6. Follow the instructions to set up the device.

To reset your device and keep your smart home connections:    

  1.  Press and hold the Volume down and Volume up buttons for 15 seconds.
  2. Wait for the light bar to turn off and on again.     
  3. Your device enters setup mode. For setup instructions, go to Set Up Your Echo Pop.

To reset your device to its factory settings:          

  1.  Press and hold the Volume down and Microphone off buttons for 25 seconds.
  2. Wait for the light bar to turn off and on again.
  3. Your device enters setup mode. For setup instructions, go to Set Up Your Echo Pop.

Note: This reset erases all your personal information and any device and smart home connections.

A green light on your Echo device means there's an incoming call or an active call or an active Drop In. 

A flashing green light indicates there is an incoming call on the device. Say 'Answer Call' to rectify.

A spinning green light can indicate the Echo device has an active call or Drop in ready for you. If you didn't expect a call or Drop In, try these things:      

  • Say, "Hang Up."
  • Check your voice history to see if Alexa misheard you and started a call or Drop In.  
  • Turn off Drop In.  
  • Turn off Communications for specific Alexa devices.

 A flashing yellow light on your Echo device means that you have a notification or a message from an Alexa contact.

If you see a flashing yellow light on your Echo device, try the following steps:                                       

  • Say, "What notifications do I have?" 
  • Say, "What messages do I have?"
  • Update your notification settings in the Alexa app.

Use the Alexa app to pair your phone or Bluetooth speaker with your Echo Device.      

  1. Put your Bluetooth device in pairing mode.                                         
  2. Open the Alexa app.                               
  3. Select Devices.                             
  4. Select Echo & Alexa.                               
  5. Select your device.                                   
  6. Select Bluetooth Devices, and then Pair A New Device.
