FAQs
The machine has a float in the dirty water tank that is designed to rise with the level of the water. However, if the machine is jolted, or there is a large amount of foam in the tank, the float may rise to the top. The rising float will block the suction and the machine will make a high pitched noise.
To return the float to its original position, simply switch the machine off, allow it to drop down and then try again.
Replace the fuse in the plug with another 13 amp fuse
The machine may not have switched on when you went to use it, or it may have cut out during use.
Check the suction from the motor.
Remove the dirty water tank and switch the machine on.
Place your hand over the circular hole located on the machine, where the dirty water tank sits.
Check the suction from the machine.
Open the door on the nozzle where the hose fits in.
Switch the machine on and place your hand over the hole to test the suction.
The machine is not releasing water.
This model comes with a hose attachment for cleaning stairs and upholstery, or can be used through the main machine for cleaning your carpet.
Are the spinscrub brushes not turning?
Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.
Remove the spinscrub brushbar.
Check the spindle on the top of the brushbar.
The spindle should be approximately 1 inch in length and should have flat sides (not rounded).
