- Check the On/Off switch is in the On position.
- The plug may not be fully pushed into the electrical socket.

- There may be no water in water tank, check the water tank has water.
- Check the water tank is securely fitted and the hard water filter is in place.

- Check the detergent has been diluted to correct strength.

The clicking sound is normal as this indicates the unit is heating up to produce steam. If the clicking remains after a few minutes and no steam is produced, disconnect from power, allow to cool, and gently shake the appliance. Then, switch back on and try again.
