If the blender blades are stuck, check the following once you have unplugged the unit completely and disconnected from power. Before inspecting, take caution to not touch the blades with your fingers to avoid injury:

  • Check the blades for any food debris by using a spatula to dislodge.
  • Check that the blades are correctly attached to the assembly.

If your blender is not blending smoothly, try the following:

  • Cut the ingredients into smaller pieces.
  • Ensure you have added liquid to get smoother results.
  • Try different settings, such as pulsing.
  • Try alternative ingredients or change the recipe.

Blenders may overheat and shut down if there is too much strain put into the motor and blades. If this happens, turn the unit off and unplug. Allow it to cool down and check for any food debris that may be caught in the blades and overworking them. Remove any debris, and start again.

We recommend doing shorter pulses of blending rather than blending for a long time to avoid overheating.

If the issue remains, please contact the support team using the details on this page.

If the blender isn’t responding to buttons, check the following:

  • Check the unit is correctly aligned.

If the issue remains, please contact the support team using the details on this page.

The blender jug may become cloudy due to food and debris build up over time. Clean the jug following the cleaning instructions in your user guide.
