If your coffee machine will not operate, check the following: 

• Ensure the coffee machine is plugged into the mains. 
• Check that the power button is switched on. 
• Try the coffee machine in a different mains socket. 
• Replace the fuse in the plug. Ensure the replacement fuse is the same rating. 

If there is coffee is coming out of your coffee machine, check the following: 

• Check that there is water in the water tank. 
• In areas where water is hard, this can cause a build-up of scale. Carry out a descaling cycle (check the instruction manual for this procedure). 
• Check that ground coffee has been added into the filter (check the instruction manual for the recommended amount of ground coffee required for each cup). 

If your coffee machine takes a long time to dispense, this can be a sign of a build-up of scale. Carry out a descaling cycle (check the instruction manual for this procedure).

If only water is coming out of your coffee machine, ensure ground coffee has been added in the filter (check the instruction manual for the recommended amount of ground coffee required for each cup).
