FAQs

If your tablet is running slowly or encountering problems:

  • Clear the cache: Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, and tap "Clear cache."
  • Free up storage space: Delete unnecessary files or move them to cloud storage.
  • Check for software updates: Navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
  • Restart your tablet: Press and hold the Power button, then tap "Restart."

To maximize battery life:

  • Reduce screen brightness: Lower the brightness level in Settings or use adaptive brightness.
  • Limit background app activity: Close apps not in use and disable background data for non-essential apps.
  • Turn off unused features: Disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS when not needed.
  • Enable power-saving modes: Activate power-saving features in Settings.

Frequent disconnections can occur due to:

  • Low battery: Ensure both devices are adequately charged.
  • Distance: Keep devices within the effective Bluetooth range (typically up to 10 metres).
  • Interference: Avoid obstacles or electronic devices that might interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
  • Software updates: Ensure both devices have the latest software updates installed.
  • Force Restart: Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds until the device reboots.
  • Shut Down the Device: If the force restart doesn't work, press and hold the Power button for up to two minutes to shut down the tablet. Once it has turned off, wait for one minute before turning it back on.
  • Drain the Battery: If the tablet remains unresponsive, allow the battery to drain completely. After the device powers off, charge it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on again.
  • Free Up Memory Space: A lack of storage can lead to freezing. Delete unnecessary files or apps to free up space. Navigate to Settings > Device care > Storage to manage your storage.
  • Safe Mode: Booting into Safe Mode can help determine if a third-party app is causing the issue. To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the power off screen appears, then tap and hold the "Power off" option until "Safe mode" appears. Tap "Safe mode" to restart the device in this mode. If the tablet functions normally in Safe Mode, a recently installed app may be causing the problem.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset. This will erase all data on the device, so ensure you back up important information first. To reset, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset, and follow the on-screen instructions.
