If your Pixel Watch will not connect to your phone, try the following:
- Ensure that the Pixel Watch battery is fully charged.
- Watch the Set Up Pixel Watch video to confirm that your device is set up correctly.
- Update your Pixel Watch Firmware. Click here for help.
- Connect through Bluetooth on your Pixel phone. Your phone must be within 0.5m (1.6ft) of your Pixel Watch for Fast Pair to work.
- Turn on location and Wi-Fi.
- Confirm that your location is set up correctly.
- Check that your phone is connected to either a Wi-Fi or mobile network.

Ensure that you are using a compatible charger.
- Pixel Watch 2 and 3: Charge your watch using only the USB-C fast charging cable included with your Pixel Watch.
- Pixel Watch: Charge the watch using only the USB-C magnetic wireless charger that comes with your Pixel Watch.
Ensure your Pixel Watch is placed correctly on the charger (you will receive a notification if your watch isn’t placed correctly on the charger).
For Pixel Watch 2 and 3, ensure the back of your Pixel Watch is clean and the charging pins are not stuck or damaged.
Once the percent charged is visible on the watch screen, you'll know the issue is resolved.
To confirm your Pixel Watch is charging, carry out the follow:
- Ensure your watch is properly seated on the charger.
- The watch screen will display a lightning bolt icon.
- Wait about 35 seconds. Press the crown on the side of the watch face to display a percentage amount.
- After 7 minutes the colour G icon will appear indicating the watch is booting up.
- The watch will continue to charge.
Restarting your Pixel Watch should resolve a frozen or unresponsive touchscreens.
- Press and hold the crown for 3 seconds.
- Scroll down and tap Restart.
- If your watch screen is still unresponsive after a restart, perform a hard reset. Long press the crown and side button for about 35 seconds (may take longer) until the "G" logo appears. The watch should restart and be usable again once the restart completes.
