To activate walk mode, press and hold the ‘-‘ button on your controller. The motor will begin a low speed rotation that will push the bike at a low speed of up to 3.7mph/6kph so that you can walk with your bike effortlessly. Releasing the ‘-’ button deactivates the motor.
To charge the battery, we recommend removing it from the main unit and bringing indoors. Alternatively, the battery can be charged whilst still attached to the bike:
- Ensure that the charging port is clean and dry.
- Plug the charger into the power socket, make sure the light on the charger is lit GREEN.
- Put the male DC connector plug into the charging port of the battery. The indicator light on the charger should change to RED, indicating it is being charged. When the RED indicator light on the charger turns to green then the battery is fully charged.
- A full charge typically takes 4.5 hours.
- Then, unplug the charger from the battery and the power outlet.
- Ensure the charging port cover is put back on after charging and before you ride the bike.
- A: You can switch the battery ON or OFF with a switch located on the rear left-hand side of the battery. Remember to switch the battery off when not in use otherwise the battery may drain.
- B: To check the power level of the battery simply press the Indicator Button and check the light display as shown in the image.
- C: Please Note: This can only be done with the power switched on.
- D: To charge your battery connect the charger with the lead supplied by removing the rubber cover and inserting the pin connector, plug into the mains and then switch on the power. Remember to place the rubber cover back on once the battery is charged.
