No. Flying Karma in adverse weather conditions including rain, fog, and high winds is not recommended. Karma is not waterproof.

No. Users will need to use the Karma Controller joysticks to maneuver around obstacles.

No. The landing gear contains sensors that are necessary for flight. 

  1. Make sure controller is fully charged
  2. Press and hold the power button for about 8 seconds to perform a hard reset
  1. Make sure that camera is updated to latest firmware via Capture App, Quik For Desktop, or Manual update process
  2. Power off drone
  3. Remove Stabilizer from drone/handle
  4. Make sure camera is powered off
  5. Reinstall stabilizer
  6. Power on drone/handle




To power on your Karma Drone or Karma Controller: Press and hold the Power button until the light around the button illuminates. The orientation lights on the arms also illuminate.  


To power on the Karma Grip: Press the Power button on the grip to power on both the stabilizer and the camera.

HERO5 Black

  1. From the main screen, swipe down.
  2. Tap Connect > Reset Connections, and then tap Reset.
  3. You will now have a new password that is created by the camera.

NOTE: The camera name cannot be altered on HERO5 Black, only the password can be reset by the camera. 
 

HERO5 Session

  1. With your camera off, press the Menu button to turn on the status screen.
  2. Press the Menu button repeatedly until you get to "Connections Settings".
  3. Press the Shutter button to select "Connections Settings".
  4. Press the Menu button repeatedly until you get to "Reset Connections".
  5. Press the Shutter button to select "Reset Connections".
  6. Press the Menu button to navigate to "Yes".
  7. Press the Shutter button to select "Yes".
  8. "Wi-fi Reset Successful" will appear on status screen.
