Yes. Breeze is equipped with Indoor Positioning Sensors (IPS) that use textures on the ground to hold its position. Furthermore, Breeze has an infrared sensor that gives centimeter accuracy of altitude. It is recommended when flying inside to use prop guards.
If your phone disconnects from the drone it will hover in its current position. If Breeze does not re-connect with the phone it will fly back and land at the take off point after one minute.
If you get a call in the middle of flying, Breeze will hover in position and wait until you are off the call. The app will display the screen you left off on.
If your phone dies Breeze will wait one minute in its current position then return to the take off point and stop its motors after landing.
To upgrade the firmware, go into the settings menu in the top left corner of the app. Click on the “Firmware Upgrade” tab and click “Upgrade”. The Breeze camera, ESC, and Flight Control firmware will update.
No. The Breeze has many electrical components which it relies on in order to fly. A failure in one of those components due to water would cause the Breeze to crash and would not be covered under warranty. The Breeze is able to fly at a maximum speed of 5m/s (meters per second) or 12 mph. You should not fly in wind speeds above 7mph
Yuneec recommends you keep a minimum of 100m from all high frequency antennas. Also metal structures could cause problems with the internal compass which would cause the Breeze to lose orientation.
The IPS system needs some contrast in order to hold its position. If the floor is the same color or pattern then the Breeze might not remain stationary. It will also fine it challenging when hovering over water or a mirrored surface.
Please move your Breeze to a different surface or location.
