• Use your hair clippers on clean, dry hair unless the model specifically states it is designed for wet cutting.

• Unplug the hair clippers from the mains. 
• Remove the guide comb. 
• Brush away hair with the cleaning brush. 
• Wipe with a dry cloth. 
• Add a few drops of clipper oil along the blade teeth. 

• Ensure they are set to ON.     
• For cordless hair clippers, ensure the battery is fully charged. 
• For non cordless hair clippers, try an alternative plug socket.     
• Turn off, unplug and leave for 15 seconds. Plug back in and power on. 

• Remove, clean and oil the blades. 
• Ensure your brush your hair before using the hair clippers.
