FAQs

No, the appliance does not run from the mains. Make sure that the appliance is fully charged before you start using it.
  1. The beard comb is most suitable for trimming your beard to an even length.
  2. The detail comb is especially suitable for trimming hard-to-reach areas, for instance under your nose.
  • Select the right length setting. We advise you to start with a higher setting when you are inexperienced.
  • Turn on the appliance.
  • Move the appliance slowly, against the direction of the hair growth.
  • Make sure you place the appliance onto your face at the right angle.
  • You can also use the appliance without the comb for contouring and the shortest length setting.
  • To get a perfect result, you can try to move the appliance in different directions over you skin.

To ensure you get a precise and even cut, it is essential that you hold the appliance at the angle shown. If you tilt the appliance too far forward, the teeth of the cutting element cause a shorter cut and could nick your skin. If you tilt the appliance too far backward, trimming will not be effective. If you change the angle while trimming, you will end up with an uneven result. Take special care when you move the appliance from neck to cheek or vice versa and around your jaws and chin.

  1. The laser guide is in '‘off '’ position, switch the laser guide on by pressing the top of the laser guide.
  2. You switched the appliance off with the laser popped out. After 3 minutes, the laser guide switches off automatically. Switch on the appliance.
  3. You are in a room or area with very bright lighting conditions. Move to a room or area with less bright lighting conditions. "

No, the beard should be dry during trimming.

This appliance can be used to trim beards. Do not use it for any other purpose. This is because the cutting element of a beard trimmer is usually smaller than that of a hair clipper. The comb is smaller, to allow you to easily reach under the nose. Beard hairs are usually stiffer than scalp hairs. They therefore don't need to be lifted in the same way as scalp hairs. This is reflected in the comb design. If you use a beard trimmer to trim hair on other body parts, you may experience reduced performance or even skin damage.

  1. The laser guide is in 'off' position, switch the laser guide on by pressing the top of the laser guide.
  2. You switched the appliance off with the laser popped out. After 3 minutes, the laser guide switches off automatically. Switch on the appliance.
  3. You are in a room or area with very bright lighting conditions. Move to a room or area with less bright lighting conditions. "

To maintain the performance of the rechargeable batteries you should recharge the appliance only when the batteries are nearly empty.
