FAQs

Condition the leather roughly every 3-6 months to maintain moisture and prevent the leather from drying out. Use a conditioner suited to your leather type. Avoid positioning the furniture in direct sunlight or near a heat source.

If you spill something on your leather furniture, grab a dry cloth and blot the area immediately. Rubbing will only push the stain deeper into the leather, making it harder to remove.

For light stains, a mixture of mild soap and water can work wonders. Dampen a cloth with the solution, gently clean the area, and wipe off any residue with a damp cloth. Always dry the area thoroughly afterward. Always refer to the user manual for specific guidelines.

Some stains are too stubborn to handle on your own. In these cases, it’s best to consult a professional leather cleaner to avoid causing further damage.

Try rubbing the scratch gently with your finger. The natural oils from your skin can help blend the scratch into the leather, making it less noticeable.

For more significant scratches, invest in a leather repair kit. These kits usually come with fillers and colorants that match your leather or consult a relevant professional.

Fabric warp on leather furniture refers to slight ripples, wrinkles or stretching in the leather. Especially common in areas of the furniture that have frequent use and where there's differences in temperature and humidity.

Fabric warp in most cases is not a defect, but because leather is a natural material that stretches and moulds with use.

To prevent fabric warping try the following: -

  • Avoid sitting in the same spot every day.
  • Keep the furniture away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Follow the care instructions in your furniture instruction manual.

Leather is a natural material, so each leather hide absorbs colour differently.

Images of furniture are often taken in controlled studio light. Your living room will have very different lighting, maybe less daylight, or more shadows.

Also, every screen on a laptop, phone, tablet or desktop computer the colour display varies depending on: -

  • Screen brightness
  • Display technology (LCD, OLED, etc.)
  • Blue light or night shift filters

Before carrying out any cleaning on your leather furniture, always consult your care guide.

The best way to clean your leather furniture is to use a soft damp cloth every week.

For deeper cleaning, use a cleaner that is made for your specific leather every 1-3 months.

Avoid using harsh detergents, baby wipes, or alcohol.

To protect your leather furniture from drying out or cracking, apply a leather conditioner every 6-12 months. This will keep the leather hydrated and supple.
