• The bottles and teats are dishwasher safe. Please place the small parts on the top rack of the dishwasher.
• When washing teats with your hands, use only your fingers and warm soapy water. Avoid washcloths, sponges and bottle/teats brushes with bristles that may tear the silicone.
• The bottles and teats can be sterilised using a Philips AVENT electric or microwave steam steriliser or boil for 5 minutes. The bottles should be fully disassembled when put in the steriliser.

Note: There is no need to turn the teat inside out during washing and sterilising. 

Note 2: Food colourings may discolour the bottle parts. This does not affect their quality.

Yes, you do. The bottle neck size of the Classic polypropylene bottle may slightly change over time. The adapter ring makes sure the anti-colic valve in the teat will work properly, preventing air into your baby's tummy.

Constant vacuum will make the valve being '“absorbed' and will pop out of its place. Press the handle rapidly when starting to pump. Once the let down has occurred you want to slow down and hold the handle for 2-3 seconds and then release the handle all the way up. When releasing the handle half way it will continue to build pressure inside the pump and could cause the valve to pop out due to too much pressure.
