You do not have to clean it on a regular basis. Only if the tube fills with some discharge, flush the syringe a few times with soapy water and leave it to dry completely.

The tube may be blocked by discharge from the nipple or by the lubricant. Flush the tube through with hand-hot soapy water by drawing the liquid up through the thimble and tube into the syringe, and then flush back out. This exercise should be repeated a number of times and then finally with clear water.

A little discharge is normal. Try not to pull too hard and remember you must feel comfortable while wearing Niplette.
