If your smart lighting isn't powering on do the following:  

  • Check the switch is turned on. 
  • Try an alternative plug socket. 
  • If applicable change the fuse in the plug.  
  • Ensure the connections are secure.  

This can happen due to connectivity or syncing issues. Try the following: 

  • Check power: Make sure the light is switched on at the wall and has power.  
  • Check Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone and the light are on the same network.  
  • Restart the app: Close and reopen the smart lighting app.  
  • Reboot devices: Turn the light off/on and restart your router if needed.  
  • Check updates: Make sure the app and firmware are up to date.  
  • Re-sync the light: Remove the device from the app and add it again. Refer to the manual for specific steps.  

 This usually happens if the light is too far from your router or connected to the wrong network. Make sure: 

  • Your phone and the smart light are on the same Wi-Fi network (usually 2.4 GHz). 
  • The password is entered correctly.  
  • The light is within range of the router.
  • If it still doesn’t connect, reset the bulb (turn it on/off multiple times as per instructions) and try again.
  • Turn the light on using the wall switch.  
  • Power cycle the bulb: Turn it off and on repeatedly (usually 3–5 times) with 1–2 seconds between each switch.  
  • Watch for a signal: The light will typically flash, blink, or change colour to indicate it has reset.  
  • Reconnect in the app: Open your smart lighting app and add the device again as a new light. Refer to the manual for specific steps.
