Three solid lights mean the battery is fully charged and ready to go. Two lights indicate the battery has 50% of the remaining charge. One flashing light means the tool is about to turn off. Three flashing lights indicate the tool is too hot for use, let it cool down. Three side to side lights indicate the battery is too low to run at all. A recharge is necessary.
All the Dremel High Speed Rotary Tool Attachments are compatible with the 8220 but you may experience reduced run times on the battery when using certain attachments.
The removable 12-volt battery charges in one-hour when used with the included one-hour charger.
