When using the health grill for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the health grill.
If your product isn’t heating up, check the following:
- Ensure it is plugged into the mains and turned on.
- Try another electrical product in the same socket and see if it works. If it does not, then it may be the electrical socket is at fault.
- Change the fuse in the plug, using a fuse with the same rating 13A.
If your food is burning even on a low setting, check the following:
- Check that there is not a build-up of food on the plates which can cause hotspots.
- Do not use butter or oil on the plates, instead butter the bread.
