Please note, a factory reset will delete all data on the phone. If you would like to keep any data, we recommend backing up your Android phone.

1. Go to Settings. 
2. Go to General Management. 
3. Go to Reset. 
4. Select Factory Data Reset. 
5. Confirm your selection by selecting Reset. 
6. Select Delete All.

You can backup your phone using Google One. 

1. Go to Settings. 
2. Go to Google. 
3. Go to All Services. 
4. Select Backup. 
5. Toggle on Backup by Google One. 
6. Tap Back up now to back up your data.

1. Launch the Settings app. 
2. Tap Security & Privacy. 
3. Tap Lock screen. 
4. Tap Fingerprints. 
5. Read the on-screen instructions and tap Continue. 
6. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to register your fingerprint. 
7. Follow the on-screen instructions until fully registered.

If the phone isn’t charging, check the following: 

1. Check that the charging cable is secure and not damaged. 
2. Try an alternative charging cable. 
3. Try an alternative mains plug socket. 
4. Clean the charging port with a small, soft brush to remove debris from the port. 
5. Reboot the device by holding down the Power and Volume Up buttons. 
6. Plug the phone into the charger and update the phone to the latest software if necessary through the Settings menu.

To optimise the battery life, try the following: 

Once you have signed into your Samsung account on your device it will automatically activate all of the AI features. 

You can disable these features by going into Settings, Advanced Features, Advanced Intelligence, and then press the switch by Process data only on device.
