FAQs

  1. After brushing, rinse your brush head or accessory carefully under running water for some seconds with the handle switched on.
  2. Switch off the handle and remove the brush head or accessory. Clean both parts separately under running water then wipe them dry before reassembling the toothbrush.
  3. Disassemble charging unit before cleaning. Never place the charger in dishwasher or water; it should be cleaned with a damp cloth only.
  4. Brush head holder, brush head compartment and protective cover are dishwasher-safe.

Your toothbrush has a waterproof handle, is electrically safe and designed for use in the bathroom. Plug the basic charger or the assembled charging unit into an electrical outlet and place the toothbrush handle on the charging unit. The green charge indicator light flashes while the handle is being charged. Once it is fully charged, the light turns off. A full charge can take up to 22 hours and enables up to seven days of regular brushing (twice a day, 2 minutes).

Note: After deep discharge, the green light might not flash immediately; it can take up to 10–15 minutes. If the rechargeable battery is low the red low charge indicator light is flashing for some seconds when turning your toothbrush on/off. For everyday use, the toothbrush handle can be stored on the charging unit to maintain it at full power. Overcharging is impossible. To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug the charging unit and fully discharge the handle with regular use at least every 6 months.

It is important to brush gently to promote proper cleaning. The pressure sensor alert lets you know when you’re brushing your teeth too hard, which can cause the bristles to bend and wear out quickly, resulting in less than optimal cleaning.
Oral-B handles feature up to 6 different modes: Daily Clean, Gum Care, Sensitive, Whitening, Deep Clean, Tongue Cleaner. Daily Clean is a performance mode for daily oral care usage with 2 minutes' brushing time. Gum Care is designed to effectively stimulate and massage gums. Sensitive operates at a lower speed than Daily Clean to provide a more gentle brushing sensation for sensitive teeth. Whitening mode is designed to alternate between speeds for a polishing effect on the tooth surface that has been demonstrated to be effective at reducing surface teeth stains. Deep Clean is designed for exceptional mouth cleaning, featuring 45-second quadrant cleaning for a total brushing time of 3 minutes, enhancing the results of the standard 30-second quadrant clean of 2 minutes. Tongue Cleaner is a special brushing mode for cleaning the tongue.
A fully charged Oral-B PRO 3000 electric toothbrush lasts for up to 7 days with regular use. To ensure that your battery is able to hold its maximum capacity, deplete the battery by using it without in-between charges until it is fully discharged. Do this at least once every six months for best results.
Your toothbrush automatically starts in the Daily Clean mode. To switch to the other modes, successively press the on/off button. If you wish to turn off your toothbrush from the «Sensitive» mode e.g. push and hold down the on/off button until the motor stops.

Yes, it is generally safe to leave it on charge all the time. Most modern electric toothbrushes are designed in a way to prevent overcharging. Once the battery is full, the toothbrush simply stops drawing power, meaning it won’t damage the battery or overheat.
