You must enable a special option on the Switch first:

  • Go to System Settings → Controllers & Sensors.
  • Turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication.
  • Connect the wheel

Tabletop: USB‑C OTG adapter required

Docked: plug wheel USB into dock

Power on the console and start playing.

Check the following:

  • The suction cap is installed and twisted to lock.
  • The clamp knobs are loosened fully before inserting into mounting cavities.
  • The clamps are pushed in until they click.
  • The Knobs have been tightened clockwise once positioned.


  • Unfortunately, this option does not work on the Switch.
