Garmin Forerunner 10 GPS Running Watch - Orange and Black

Since terms like waterproof and water-resistant can be confusing and interpreted in different ways, Garmin has manufactured devices with standardized water ratings. A description of these ratings as well as suitable and unsuitable activities for these devices can be found here.

The History menu in the Forerunner 10 will show the last 7 activities. However, the fitness watch can store up to 40 activities, which can be uploaded and analyzed in Garmin Connect.

The Forerunner 10 can show the following paces: 

• Current - real time pace being recorded (rounded) 
• Lap Pace - average pace for the current lap 
• Average Pace - average pace over the entire activity 

If you would like to change the type of pace: 

• Press the down arrow 
• Select run options 
• Scroll down 
• Select Pace/Speed 
• Higlight your desired pace option 
• Press the run button 
• The device will now show pace in the chosen pace setting.
