1. Place both earbuds in the case. Leave the case open.

2. Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white.

   

3. Release the system button.

The LED indicator light will continue to flash white, which means that you can pair your Powerbeats Pro with your iPhone, Mac, Android device or other device again.

Here's how to troubleshoot the Bluetooth connection between your Beats product and your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or other device.

Check the location

Place your Beats product and your paired device within 30 feet of each other. Move both devices away from other Bluetooth devices, microwaves, wireless routers and other electronics.

Check the sound settings

On your iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth and select your Beats.

On your Mac, choose Apple () menu > System Settings, click Sound, then select your Beats product in the Output and Input panes.

On your PC, go to the sound settings and select your Beats product as the playback/recording device.

Check the volume

1. Make sure both your Beats product and your Bluetooth device are charged and turned on.

2. Play a track that you downloaded to your device, not streaming audio.

3. Increase the volume on your Beats product and on the paired Bluetooth device.

Use Forget Device, then pair your Beats again

1. Disconnect your Beats product.

   • On your iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the Info button next to the name of your Beats product, then tap Forget This Device.

   • On your Mac, choose Apple () menu > System Settings, click Bluetooth, select your Beats product, click the X, then choose Forget Device.

2. Pair your Beats product again.

1. Remove the Powerbeats Pro earbuds from the charging case.

2. Disconnect the charging cable from both the case and your computer or power adapter.

3. To clean the charging contacts on Powerbeats Pro, use a cotton bud that has been slightly dampened with warm water. To clean the charging pins on the case, use a lint-free cloth that has been slightly dampened with warm water. If necessary, you can slightly dampen the cotton bud or cloth with 70 per cent isopropyl alcohol.

4. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean all other areas of the Powerbeats Pro and case. Here's how to clean your ear tips.

Plug your earphones into a power source using the Lightning cable included. Your earphones provide up to 15 hours of playback from a full charge, and up to 1 hour of playback from a 5-minute charge.

When your earphones are turned on and set up, the LED indicator light on the left earphone shows how much listening time is left:

• White: Up to 15 hours left

• Red: Less than an hour left

• Flashing red: Needs to charge

Pair with an iPhone

Follow these steps to pair your earphones with your iPhone:

1. Make sure your iPhone is unlocked and Bluetooth is on.

2. Hold your Powerbeats next to your iPhone.

3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Pair with your Mac or another device that uses Bluetooth

Follow these steps to pair your Powerbeats with your Mac, iPad or any other device:

1. Press the button on your left earbud until you see the indicator light flash. Your Powerbeats are now in pairing mode.

2. On your device, go to the Bluetooth menu.

3. Select your earphones from the list of discovered Bluetooth devices.

Pair with an Android device

Follow these steps if you have an Android device:

1. Get the Beats app for Android.

2. Open the Beats app.

3. Hold your Powerbeats next to your device.

4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

To control your music, you can use the "b" button on your right earbud. Here are some things you can do:

• To pause or play audio, press the "b" button once.

• To skip to the next track, press the "b" button twice.

• To listen to the previous track, press the "b" button three times.

To control volume, use the volume buttons on your right earbud.

• Press and release the volume up button, or press and hold to increase volume continuously.

• Press and release the volume down button, or press and hold to decrease volume continuously.

To control phone calls, use the "b" button on your right earbud:

• Press once to answer or end a call.

• Press once to answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold. When two calls are active, this switches between calls.

• Press and hold for 1 second to reject an incoming call.

• Press twice to stop listening through your earphones and send the call to your phone.
