One For All URC7125 Evolve 2 Way Universal Remote Control

The NETTV key is for viewing digital TV, streamed over the internet.
If your original remote control already had a key for this, for example, many newer TVs have a Netflix key, then this key will perform the same as the key on your original remote.

However, if you did not have a key like this, but still had the ability to watch a streaming service, you can use this key as a shortcut by programming a macro on it.
Most AV devices which are connected to the internet, such as Smart TVs or streaming Set Top Boxes have one or more applications they can run to access TV viewing via the internet.
Examples of these would be Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer or similar.

It is possible to add missing functions via a procedure known as “Key Magic.”

To use the Key Magic procedure, please follow the instructions outlined below:

1. Use the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
2. Hold down the MAGIC key until the light blinks once and then twice and stays lid. 
3. Enter the code 994, the light blinks twice. 
4. Press the Magic key once
5. Enter the code of the required function.
6. Press the One For All key you wish to assign the function to. 
7. The light blinks twice and that key should now function.

To program the basic code on your Evolve remote, please follow the instructions mentioned below:

1. Hold down MAGIC until the light blinks once and then twice and stays on.
2. Press the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
3. Enter the code, the light will blink twice.
4. You can now operate your device.

If the LED does not blink twice at the end, please try the following

1. Hold down MAGIC until the light blinks once and then twice and stays on.
2. Press the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
3. Enter 992, the light will blink twice.
4. Press the Magic key once, the light blinks once.
5. Press the Magic key again, the light will blink twice.
6. You can now set up the device code.

On the Evolve, the STB key should be used for programming the Freeview.

If you would like to delete a learned function that you no longer require, please follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Hold down MAGIC until the light blinks once and then twice and stays on
2. Enter the code 976, the light will blink twice
3. Press the MODE key to select the relevant device key
4. Press the learned key twice, the device key will blink twice
5. If there is another key to be deleted, please repeat steps 1 to 4. 
6. The key that has been cleared will now perform the default function.

Before resetting the Evolve, please take the following into account:

If you have ever sent in your remote control to our Upgrade Service for an update, these codes will be erased as well. In that case, it is highly advised not to perform a factory reset.

To reset your remote to the manufacturer's setting, please follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Remove a battery from the remote and press a button with it removed
2. Reinsert the battery – the LED should blink twice
3. Press the digits 2 and 8 simultaneously within 6 seconds – the LED should blink twice and stays on.
4. Enter the code 9 8 1, the LED will blink 4 times
5. The remote is now reset to its factory defaults. 

You can now setup your remote again.

The procedure must be performed within 6 seconds of applying power to the remote, that is, inserting batteries. After 6 seconds of Power it will not activate.

Yes, it is possible, as long as the remote supports 2 or more devices.

Another device mode will have to be changed into the required device mode.

To do this please use the procedure below:

1. Hold down Magic until the LED stays on.
2. Enter the code 992, the light will blink twice.
3. Using MODE, select the Source Device key.
4. Press MAGIC once.
5. Using the MODE key, select the device key that will be changed.
6. Press MAGIC once, the light will blink twice.

It is possible to lock the volume on your Essence remote to a single device key (for example: the volume control could be linked only to a TV). This means that when the remote is in DVD or SAT mode and the volume keys are pressed, the TV volume will still be activated.

If you would like to have the volume locked to a particular device, please follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Hold down MAGIC until the LED stays on. 
2. Enter code 993, the light blinks twice.
3. Press the relevant device you wish to assign volume control to
4. Press MAGIC once, the light will blink twice.

To move a particular key within the same device mode:

1. Press and hold the MAGIC key until the LED stays on.
2. Enter code 994, the light will blink twice.
3. Using MODE to select the relevant device. 
4. Press the key to move once.
5. Press the key to overwrite once, the light will blink twice.

To move a particular key from one device mode to another:

1. Press and hold the MAGIC until the LED stays on.
2. Enter code 994, the light will blink twice.
3. Using MODE to select the relevant device.
4. Press the key to move once
5. Using MODE select the relevant device where the key will be moved.
6. Press the key to overwrite once, the light will blink twice.
