When using the health grill for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emittd. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the health grill.

The health grill should be cleaned after every use. 

Warning: The drip tray will gather oil and fat, which may still be hot after use. Allow it to cool fully before carefully removing the drip tray for cleaning.      

Ensure the appliance is cool, clean and dry before storing in a cool, dry place.

Make sure that the cord is not wrapped tightly and is loose around the appliance to avoid damage.

Note: Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and ensure it has fully cooled.

  1. Wipe the grill housing with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  2. Clean the accessories in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Remove stubborn debris by applying a small amount of warm water and mild detergent to the plates and wiping clean with a paper towel or soft cloth.

Note: Do not immerse the health grill in water or any other liquid. Do not use harsh abrasives or detergents to clean.

  1. Prepare the ingredients that are to be grilled.
  2. Plug in and switch on the health grill at the mains power supply. The red light will illuminate.
  3. Preheat the grill for 3 minutes. The green light will illuminate.
  4. Place the ingredients onto the lower cooking plate and close the lid.
  5. Cook the food for around 3-8 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, carefully open the lid and remove the food with a wooden spatula.
  7. Switch off and unplug the health grill from the mains power supply. Leave the lid open and allow to cool.
  8. Use the spatula to channel any excess oil into the drip tray.
