ONE FOR ALL ESSENCE 2 WAY REMOTE

To use the Key Magic procedure, please follow the instructions outlined below:

1. Hold down the MAGIC key until the light blinks once and then twice and stays lit.
2. Use the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
3. Enter the code 994, the light blinks twice.
4. Press the Magic key once
5. Enter the code of the required function, see below.
6. Press the One For All key you wish to assign the function to.
7. The light blinks twice and that key should now function.

Please note:

• The MODE key, CombiControl key and Magic key cannot be programmed.
• The functions listed here might not all be compatible with your specific make and model. Programming a function that does not exist on the original remote control might cause malfunction or damage for which One For All cannot be held responsible.

To program the basic code on your Essence remote, please follow the instructions mentioned below:

1. Hold down MAGIC until the light blinks once and then twice and stays on.
2. Press the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
3. Enter the code, the light will blink twice.
4. You can now operate your device.

If the LED does not blink twice at the end, please try the following

1. Hold down MAGIC until the light blinks once and then twice and stays on.
2. Press the MODE key to select the relevant device key.
3. Enter 992, the light will blink twice.
4. Press the Magic key once, the light blinks once.
5. Press the Magic key again, the light will blink twice.
6. You can now set up the device code.

On the Essence, the SAT key should be used for programming the Freeview.

To reset your remote to the manufacturer's setting please use the following procedure:

1. Hold the MAGIC key down until the LED blinks once and then twice.
2. Enter code 981 the LED will blink four times in total.

You can now setup your remote again.

If you would like to reset a device mode, please use the following procedure:

1. Hold down Magic until the LED stays on.
2. Enter the code 992, the light will blink twice.
3. Using MODE, select the Device you wish to reset.
4. Press MAGIC twice.
5. The device key has now been deactivated.
