Turn the grinding fineness button to the left to obtain more finely ground coffee. Remove the Claris cartridge.

If the water tank remains on, check the following:

  • Check the proper positioning of the tank on the device.
  • Make sure the magnetic float of the water tank moves freely.
  • Rinse the tank and descale if necessary.

If steam isn't coming out of the nozzle, try the following:

  • Make sure the steam nozzle is not blocked.
  • After turning off your appliance and letting it cool: clean and unclog all the orifices of the nozzle with needle provided.
  • Unclog the orifice of the steam nozzle support pipe with a needle.
  • Remove the Claris cartridge.

The water not running through can be due to various reasons:
• There is no water in the tank. To resolve this, fill the tank,
• The tank is not correctly installed. To resolve this, press firmly on the tank,
• The filter is blocked or the ground coffee is too fine. To resolve this, clean the filter holder and try a less finely ground coffee,
• The pump is unprimed. To resolve this, refer to the instructions on how to prime it,
• Your appliance has scaled up. To resolve this, descale it,
• The Claris filter cartridge has been changed but not primed. To resolve this, refer to the instructions on how to prime it.

In the event there is water or coffee under the appliance, ensure that the drip-tray has not overflowed and is emptied if necessary. Once emptied, ensure it is positioned correctly and securely.
