The monitor will beep when the baby unit is turned off or out of range from the parent unit, please ensure that the baby unit of the system is plugged in and powered on. If the beeping persists when the baby unit is on, please follow the re-pairing process, which is detailed in the instruction manual that came with the product and is located within this support page.

Both the power adapters (for the parent and the baby units) are identical, please try using the other power adapter, does the unit now power on? Either way, please contact Summer Infant customer service on 01442 505000 (Option 1) or email custserviceuk@summerinfant.com to obtain the relevant replacement part. 

As the monitor transmits a constant audio feed from the baby unit there will be a low level of background noise causing during operation, this is amplified as the volume is increased.

Make sure both the baby unit and parent unit are plugged in and powered on. Make sure electrical outlets are working. Set volume to a higher setting.

  • Make sure both parent unit and baby unit are turned on. 
  • Move the parent unit closer to the baby unit. 
  • Make sure the battery in the parent unit is fully charged.

Move the parent unit and baby unit farther apart, the squealing sound indicates the units are too close together. Turn down the volume on parent unit.
