- Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad.

- With the case lid open, hold your Beats Solo Buds next to your unlocked iPhone or iPad.

You can use Fast Pair to pair your Beats Solo Buds with an Android device:
- Make sure that your phone or tablet is using Android 6.0 or higher, and that it has Bluetooth and Location turned on.
- With the case lid open, hold your Beats Solo Buds near your phone or tablet.
- When you get a notification, tap "Tap to pair." You'll get a "Device connected" or "Pairing complete" notification.
- If you need to set up your Beats Solo Buds, tap "Set up now." If you don't get a notification, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet, and tap the device that you want to pair.
To control your music, you can use the "b" button on either earbud:
- To pause or play audio, press the "b" button once.
- To skip to the next track, press the "b" button twice.
- To listen to the previous track, press the "b" button three times.
If you want to change the volume, press and hold the "b" button on either earbud, then say something like "Turn down the volume." Or drag the volume slider in the app that you're listening to, on the Lock Screen, or in Control Center. You can also open Now Playing on your Apple Watch and turn the Digital Crown to adjust the volume.
To control phone calls, use the "b" button on either earbud:
- Press once to answer a call.
- Press once or twice to end a call, depending on your settings.
- Press once or twice to mute or unmute the microphone, depending on your settings.
- Press once to answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold. When two calls are active, this switches between calls.
- Press twice to reject an incoming call.
Your earbuds each provide up to 18 hours of playback.1 With Fast Fuel, you can get up to one hour of playback after you charge for five minutes.2
To charge your Beats Solo Buds:
- Connect your case to a power source with a USB-C cable.
- Place your earbuds in the case.
To remove an eartip, pull firmly with your fingers at the base of the eartip where it attaches to the earbud.
To attach an eartip, align the eartip with the circular nozzle on the earbud. With your fingers at the base of the eartip, push the eartip onto the connector until you feel it click securely into place.
- Place both earbuds in the case. Leave the case open.
- Press and hold the "b" button on both earbuds for at least 10 seconds.
If there is no sound coming from your earbuds, please check the following:
- Ensure your earbuds are paired to the device. (Please check the earbuds user manual for the pairing procedure).
- Check that the volume is not too low or muted.
- Restart the device and earbuds.
If your earbuds keep disconnecting, please check the following:
- The battery may be low. Fully charge the earbuds.
- Ensure your earbuds are within range of the device. (Please check the earbuds user manual for the range limit).
- If possible, avoid using the earbuds close to other Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices, as this may disrupt the connection.
If one earbud is not working, please check the following:
- Sync issue between earbuds. Place both earbuds into the charging case and reset them. (Please check your earbuds user manual for this procedure).
- Dirt or debris in the earbud. Carefully clean the earbud mesh with a soft nonabrasive cloth or a soft brush.
- Re-pair the earbuds. (Please check the earbuds user manual for this procedure).
If your earbuds will not charge, please check the following:
- Dirty charging contacts. Clean the charging contacts with a dry nonabrasive cloth.
- Try a different charging cable or adapter.
- Ensure the case is fully charged.
