FAQs

There are a few simple things you can do to maintain your headphones:

  1. To prolong the life of your ear cushions, gently pat the cushions with a soft cloth after extensive use. This will remove any oils or perspiration that may remain on the cushions
  2. Do not place any stress or pull on the input cable. Doing so may shorten the life of your headset
  3. Make sure the earcup ports are clear of lint, dust and debris. Do not allow moisture to get inside the earcups
  4. Periodically wipe the headphones with a damp cloth
  5. To maintain white headphones, wash using a soft cloth dampened in a mixture of washing-up liquid and water. Clean the exterior of the earcups with a slightly dampened soft cloth.

Note: While the headphone materials are resistant to stains, the headband may require occasional spot cleaning.

  1. Check the condition of the audio cable. If the plug or any part of the cable has been damaged, that could be causing the problem.
  2. Make sure the headphones are connected properly. The headphones may be connected improperly or the connection may have come loose. Remove and reseat the headphone connector on both ends.
  3. Make sure the audio device is on and the volume is turned up.
  4. Try a different audio device. The problem could be with the audio device to which your headphones are currently connected.
  1. Check the balance level on the source. If the source has balance level adjustment, it may be adjusted incorrectly. Make sure it is set to a middle level.
  2. Make sure the headphones are connected properly. The headphones may be connected improperly or the connection may have come loose. Remove and reseat the headphone connector on both ends.

Not all functions in all applications are supported. Third-party applications and non-Apple products may have no or limited functionality. If you are experiencing inconsistent functionality with the Answer/End and Volume buttons, we suggest you try the following:

  • Remove and reseat the input cable from the phone. The input cable may have come loose or may not be inserted properly. Remove the cable from the phone and reseat it.
  • Make sure the Answer/End button is pressed in the centre and not off axis.
  • Make sure the button is not stuck in the down position. When pressed, the button should depress then snap back into its original position. Pressing the button a few times should verify if it is stuck.
