If any other devices can connect to and use the wireless network, the problem is most likely specific to your device. ‚• Network problems: Check to see if your device can connect to a Wi-Fi network at another location, like a friend's house or a public network. If it can, the problem is most likely specific to the Wi-Fi network.
First, perform these quick checks: ‚• Make sure that the power outlet that your Nexus device is plugged into is working properly. ‚• Make sure that you're using the power adaptor and USB cable that came with your Nexus device. Check to make sure that this charger is working correctly by trying it with another device. ‚• Make sure that there isn't any dust or lint in the power port. ‚• Make sure that the power cord is securely connected to the device and the power adaptor. After you've plugged in your device: ‚• Check to see if a battery icon appears on the screen after 1 minute. ‚• If the battery icon appears, press and hold the Power button for 15 to 30 seconds to see if your device turns on.
